Last week, several members of the Affiliate Window US and UK teams travelled to NYC for Affiliate Summit East 2012. The three day conference was packed full of informative presentations discussing the latest trends in the performance channel coupled with hours of networking with advertisers, publishers, agencies, OPM’s and third party vendors.
The Affiliate Window booth was in action with the AW team working hard to recruit new publishers to the network. As an incentive, every publisher to sign up across the three days were credited $15 to their affiliate account in addition to being entered into a draw to win an Acer Iconia Tab W500 worth $549, courtesy of Skype, the newest new brand to launch an affiliate program with Affiliate Window US. Industry veteran, Murray Newlands from Performance Marketing Insider caught up with Affiliate Window’s COO Adam Ross for a very brief chat discussing the recent rebrand from buy.at to Affiliate Window. Check it out on You Tube.
On day three, Affiliate Window’s Account Manager, Jeannine Crooks hosted a panel session titled Not Just Another Session on Social Media which provided some great tips and tricks on how to customize social channels to best suit your business needs along with the definite do’s and don’ts for preparing a social media strategy. We also had the pleasure of meeting up with our zanox colleagues from the Brazil office, Chechu Lasheras and Rodrigo Genoveze. Chechu participated in the Ask the Expert round table event at the end of day two which sparked some interesting conversation regarding the latest trends in the channel.
