Affiliate Window Launches MyAW

Written by Jasmin on . Posted in Network News, PR & Press Releases

Affiliate Window is pleased to announce the release of its new Google Chrome extension for publishers, MyAW.

MyAW adds a button to the Chrome toolbar which can be used when a publisher visits any Affiliate Window advertiser site, whether they are joined to the programs or not.

Publishers can:

• Join programs

• Quickly generate shortened tracker links

• ‘One-click’ share links on Twitter, Facebook and Google+

• Generate custom URLs

• Generate links to specific product pages

In addition, the extension shows all the latest consumer offers from our system and will highlight the exclusive vouchers available to publishers.  For those publishers with multiple accounts, ‘one-click’ account switch functionality has been added for ease of use.  The plugin also offers a ‘one click’ deeplink generator.

Publisher quote:  “MyAW is THE Chrome extension every publisher should have.  It’s innovative, simple to use, provides great functionality and is far more advanced than other networks.  Great work, Affiliate Window.”

Remi Chkaibane, Head of Product at Affiliate Window says: “We want to provide publishers with a simple way of promoting products from the brands they love. Our goal is to make Affiliate Marketing easier for publishers. This extension is the first of many steps that will make this possible, as users will be able to find discount codes and build links as they browse, without needing to log in.”

MyAW is downloadable from the Chrome store and available now.

Publisher Spotlight: Boomerang

Written by Jasmin on . Posted in Publisher Spotlight

boomerangBoomerang offers social gifting technology for businesses and consumers. The B2B platform helps brands engage customers and their friends through innovative social gifting campaigns that deliver high conversions and grow revenue. Brands that work with Boomerang see an average 80% increase in revenue compared to their past email and social media campaigns. The platform also offers a B2C product that helps friends give each other free and paid gifts from top local and online advertisers.

How does it work?

Boomerang turns any promotion into an interactive, shareable gift. The advertiser is required to provide promotional codes for $5 – $20 off future purchases. Boomerang then partners with top online publishers to distribute these codes as gifts and rewards to users who fit the target audience via email and social media. All promotions will be hosted on (example campaign can be seen here), and automatically enrolled onto the rewards program.

Furthermore, the platform provides all the creative assets needed, including email templates.  It is important to bear in mind that an added bonus of email marketing is the opportunity to acquire new customers while engaging a brand’s current customer base simultaneously.

Regarding fees, a small share of each net sale goes to Boomerang, generally tracked using simple affiliate links. Essentially, the platform drives conversion and viral sharing like never before, delivering authentic brand exposure and new customers.

boomerang2What else do you need to know?

- Brand protection: The offer is positioned as an earned reward, not a discount, protecting the value of the brand

- Fun: Because it’s a reward, brands are associated with a positive user experience

New acquisition: The offers are shared virally with friends

No risk: Boomerang does all the work, and pricing is performance-based. Incremental revenue is shared with Boomerang, generally using any existing publisher infrastructure

Quality customers: No deal seekers -just real web and mobile users who unlocked a reward and received the offer

Why video creators need to think mobile

“The fastest way to start an argument is to make blanket statements. Just try to dispute this: People love video. They consume it like mad across multiple devices. This trend hasn’t come close to peaking, which presents brand marketers with the challenge of engaging their audience wherever these folks are and on whatever device.”

Cross-Border Online Shopping: The Multi-Billion Dollar Opportunity

“Paypal just released a new report for Nielsen that looks at today’s cross-border selling as a modern version of the old Spice Routes – bringing culture and commerce to all parts of the globe. They analyzed activity in six major markets and found that there are 94 million consumers who regularly buy directly from an overseas vendor. They say those deals will add up to $105 billion US dollars.  They expect this number to rise to US$307 billion with 130 million cross-border online shoppers by 2018.”

Canadians to retailers: Please send mobile promotions

“58% of Canadian smartphone owners would like personalized mobile offers, SAS finds. Canadians say they would buy more if presented with promotional offers on their smartphones while out shopping, a new survey finds.”

The Power of Keeping a Promise

“Your relationship with your customers is in some ways no different from your relationships with your friends or family. They hold you to your word and expect you to keep your promises, whether you’re aware you made one or not.”

How Will Google Glass Change Social Media?

“There is no doubt that Social Media is taking the center stage in digital marketing. The latest but exciting entrant into the world of digital marketing and social media world is the Google Glass, which has already created a buzz all over.”
